Skincare :: The Body Shop, Nutriganics Foaming Facial Wash

I really like The Body Shop products. Yes, they're pricey but usually of very good quality. I love scents, formulas and packagings. Recently I bought organic Nutriganics Foaming Facial Cleanser but I'm not pleased with it.

It contains organic Babassu oil from Brazil which softens, smooths and revitalises the skin, oranic sugar from Paraguay and mallow flower from Switzerland which moisturises and softens the skin. Nutriganics line has ECOCERT. 99% of total ingredients of Nutriganics Foam Cleanser is from natural origin and 12% from organic farming. It's supposed to wash gently and effectively remove impurities and traces of make-up leaving skin feeling cleansed, refreshed and soft to the touch.

Pros
Nutriganics Foam Cleanser  has a very pleasant botanical scent. It's not girly, rather unisex. It has a nice bottle with a hygienic pomp that dispenses the exact amount of product you need. Foam is dense an thick, easy to apply. It's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way. Natural ingredients and ECCOCERT are also a pro.

Cons
There's no information as for what skin type it's for. "First sings of ageing" is not a skin type but a condition which happens to every skin type and I definitely wouldn't recommend this foam for every skin type. I read lots of reviews saying that is great for combo-oily skin. I have a bit oily T-zone and normal skin on my cheeks and Nutriganics is way too drying for me. It makes my skin feel too tight and crazy matt, right away after using it I have to apply toner and face cream otherwise my skin almost hurts. I wouldn't call it "gentle cleansing" at all.

To sum up, I'm not saying it's a bad product but it's just not suitable for me. I guess it would be nice for people with oily skin but if you have normal or dry - stay away from it.

No niestety, TBS nie rozpieszcza Polek...
